Description
This look is EVERYWHERE these days. Totally hipster mod styling, but totally wearable today. It's hard to find these things in the thrift shop, so just make one... you get the style you want, and you get to pick the color and size.
This listing is for the knitting pattern only. It is a .pdf file that I will email to you.
This pattern is originally from Spinnerin, Volume 150, published in 1962. This is no longer in circulation, so in order to make it available for more vintage loving knitters, I am transcribing the instructions exactly as written in the original pattern book and offering them here.
Directions are for sizes 40, 42, 44 and 46.
Original yarn used was:
Spinnerin Nylaine Germantown Knitting Worsted, 4 oz skeins - 6(6-7-7)
Or
Spinnerin Marvel Twist, 4 oz skeins - 6(6-7-7)
Or
Spinnerin Alpine, 50 gram balls - 10(11-11-12)
You can google vintage yarn and get all the specifications you need to shop around for modern equivalents.
