What a great little summer tank dress! It has a nice zig-zag pattern so it will be cool and comfortable when the weather is hot. This throw-back dress is right on point with today's fashion. It's hard to find these things in the thrift shop, so just make one... you get the style you want, and you get to pick the color and size.

This pattern came from a 1973 magazine that is no longer in circulation, so in order to make it available for more vintage loving knitters, I am transcribing the instructions exactly as written in the original pattern book and offering them here.

This pattern is sized to fit 34(36, 38, 40, 42) inch bust and 36(38, 40, 42, 44) inch hips

To change the size, change yarn width or needles to get the gauge you need.

Gauge: 24 sts and 10 rows to 4" over dc worked on No. E crochet hook.

Needles:

crochet hooks - sizes C, D, E and F

Coats & Clarks O.N.T. Speed-Cro-Sheen - cotton yarn
You can google vintage yarn to get the specification, then match it up with the modern yarn of your choice.
