Original Yarn: BERNAT SESAME (Germantown Weight) (2 oz. pull pouches) - 2 Main Color (M C) - 1 Contrasting Color (C C)
You can google vintage yarns to get the specifications, then match those up to modern yarn.

Knitting Needles: 1 pair straight needles – size 10 (Canadian Needles No. 4) OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES THAT WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE GIVEN BELOW
