strong text♥The Yin Yang symbol is sometimes also called the Tai Chi symbol. Tai-Chi in turn comes from I-Ching which is the foundation of Chinese philosophy. The Yin Yang outer circle represents everything, while the shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called yin and yang (which cause everything to happen. Neither symbol can exist without the other.
