Walden the narwhal (or whale!):

Now you can make your very own unicorn of the sea (ie. narwhal)! This is a crochet pattern for a large (and very cuddly) narwhal amigurumi stuffed animal measuring about 17 inches long (including horn) when using worsted weight yarn.

This is an intermediate level pattern that involves single crochet, colour changes, increasing, decreasing and attaching pieces.

To make Walden you will need:

• G US (4 mm) hook
• two colours of worsted weight yarn (142 yrds for body; 70 yrds for belly)
• yarn/tapestry needle
• removable stitch markers
• two 15 mm plastic safety eyes
• polyester fiberfill stuffing

Note: If you are making this amigurumi for someone under 3 yrs, I recommend crocheting or embroidering the eyes instead of using the plastic safety eyes.
