Big and Little Bobby the bumble bee (2 patterns):

Crochet your own cute bumble bee amigurumi, in two different sizes! Included are the crochet patterns for a large (and very cuddly) bee measuring about 11.5 inches long AND a small (hand sized) bee measuring about 5.5 inches long when using worsted weight yarn.

These are intermediate level patterns, but only because there are a few colour changes, otherwise they are easy. The pattern involves starting with a magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitches, increasing, decreasing, colour changes and attaching pieces.

To make BIG Bobby you will need:

• G US (4 mm) hook
• worsted weight yarn approximately: yellow 90 yds (82 m), black 122 yds (111 m), white 21 yds ( 19 m)
• two 15 mm plastic safety eyes

To make LITTLE Bobby you will need:

• E US (3.5 mm) hook
• worsted weight yarn approximately: yellow 30 yds (27 m), black 45 yds (41 m), white 9 yds ( 8 m)
• two 12 mm plastic safety eyes

Plus, for both of them, you will need:

• a yarn/tapestry needle
• removable stitch markers
• polyester fiberfill stuffing

Note: If you are making this amigurumi for someone under 3 yrs, I recommend crocheting or embroidering the eyes instead of using the plastic safety eyes.
