Striped Quilted Oven Mitt
Posted by May 27, 2012
onIf you have a pile of scrap fabrics, why not use them and make this doable oven mitt with a quilted design?
I sewed fabrics together in a striped design, using different widths and different fabrics. For one side I used a neutral linen fabric. For the inside I used two layers of heat resistant batting for each side, because isn't it the worst when you burn yourself? All in all this is a pretty simple project, however it does require a bit of time and patience. I just love how you can create any design with a combination of different fabrics!
