These bears have been knit (by me!) and donated to the Mother Bear Project, a non-profit org that sends knit and crocheted bears to children in Africa affected by HIV/AIDS. It is such a wonderful project - and I have had the support of so many people who have donated either postage costs or yarn. I receive lots of pics of the kids who receive the bears - and it is just amazing!!
