TEENY UMBRELLA WREATH
This teeny umbrella wreath is big fun. The pint-sized parasols make anyone feel like they're on vacation all year long.
Here's what you need:
- Scalloped circle craft punches (or pre-cut scalloped circles)
- Heavy weigh paper
- Scissors
- Toothpicks
- Craft or hot glue
- Seed beads
- Foam wreath form
- Plastic lei
Step 1
Use craft punch to cut out scalloped circles.
Step 2
Cut a line down the center of each circle.
Step 3
Bend and glue the circles into a cone shape. Hold until the glue sets.
Step 4
Poke the toothpick through the center of the cone and ensure a bit of the pointy edge sticks out.
Step 5
Glue the tooth pick to the underside of the paper cone. Glue a bead to the top of the tooth pick and hold until the glue sets.
Step 6
Stick the sharpened edge of the umbrella into the wreath form and continue working your way around the top and sides of the wreath. Alternate colors and sizes for max effect. Remember to leave the back free so that it can lie flat against the wall.
Step 7
Use the lei to hang your wreath.
