SUPERHERO NAIL ART
Because we're all superwomen, we like to wow people with these POW! nails. Inspired by a love of comics and the artist Roy Lichtenstein, we came up with these nails when we first opened the salon - and it's still one of our most popular designs.
You will need:
- five different nail polishes
- white nail-art pen
- black nail-art pen
Step 1
Paint each of your nails with a different base color. Allow to dry.
Step 2
Paint a white “explosion” in the base corner of each nail using the white nail-art pen. (Tip: Wait for the base colors to dry completely before applying the explosions. If they're still wet, they could stain the white.)
Step 3
Paint neat polka dots uniformly over the top half of the nail with white.
Step 4
Once each explosion
is dry, use your black nail-art pen to write POW! CRASH! BANG! WHAM and any other comic book words you want within them.
Step 5
Outline the explosions with your black nail-art pen. Finish with a glossy topcoat.
