Foundation Row (RS): Sc in the second ch from the hook and in the next ch, *ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, sc in each of the next 3 ch; repeat from the * across, ending with ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, sc in each of the last 2 ch, turn.
Step 1
Row 1 (WS): Ch 1, sc in the first sc, *ch 4, skip the next 2 dc, 5 dc in the next dc, ch 4, skip the next sc, sc in the next sc; repeat from the * across. Ch 7, turn.
Step 2
Row 2: Ch 7 (counts as tr, ch 3 here and throughout), *sc in each of the next 5 dc, ch 5; repeat from the * across, ending with sc in each of the next 5 dc, ch 3, tr in the last sc, turn.
Step 3
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 2 dc in the first tr, *ch 3, skip the next sc, sc in each of the next 3 sc, ch 3, skip the next 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch; repeat from the * across, ending with ch 3, skip the next sc, sc in each of the next 3 sc, ch 3, skip the next 2 ch, 3 dc in the fourth ch of the turningch7, turn.
