PAINT A GLOW-IN-THE-DARK MASTERPIECE
When Norwegian artist Edward Munch died, he left thousands of paintings behind. One of them was The Scream
. In 2012, it sold for $120 million - the highest price paid for any work of art at an auction. Replicate this artwork at a fraction of the cost with glow-in-the-dark paints to give the piece a cool new element. So get out the black light, flip off your regular lights and get busy.
Step 1
Paint the sky, water, and rough shape of the bridge. Keep your strokes bold and abstract.
Step 2
Add scream character, starting with basic black and white.
Step 3
Build the bridge railing. Start with darkest colors and working towards the lightest.
Step 4
Use yellow to add highlights to the sky, water and bridge.
Step 5
Add final touches to the water, the Scream character and the bridge railing.
Step 6
Because florescent paint is not light-fast, varnish with an ultra violet light stabilizer if desired.
