OWL CRAFTS — GADGET SLEEVE

Want to make your electronics a little more owl-friendly? Make this simple owl craft gadget sleeve in less than 10 minutes.
Materials & Tools:
- Pencil
- Parchment paper
- Scissors
- Gray, black, and yellow felt
- Sewing thread
- Sewing needle
- Embroidery thread
- Embroidery needle
Step 1

Trace head and beak triangles from figure 1 with a pencil onto parchment paper. Measure your gadget and add 0.25 inches to the top and sides to make your own sleeve pattern on parchment paper.
Step 2
Transfer patterns and cut two shapes out of gray felt for the sleeve. Cut owl shapes out of black and yellow felt.
Step 3
Arrange owl shapes on one sleeve piece as in the photograph. Use a straight stitch to sew in place.
Step 4
Use side-by-side straight stitches in embroidery thread to make the eyes.
Step 5
Align front sleeve piece with back. Sew the pieces together using a blanket stitch along the sides and bottom.
