This sea-inspired quilt block uses triangles to create simple sails and serves as a great beginner quilting project for those new to the craft. Materials:
- Printer or copy machine
- Foundation paper
- Fabric scissors
- Sewing machine and thread
- Quilting fabric
Step 1

Enlarge the pattern to the right 150%.
Trace the pattern onto foundation paper and cut apart on red line. Add 1/4seam allowance around all edges. Sew together to form 6
block as shown.
Finished Block: 6x 6
