Cut out the pieces according to the pattern, <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Aw94D7sLv3bGxVWk1MNFhZU1U/edit?usp=sharing">available for download here.</a>
First cut the top of both outer pieces of leather with pinking shears for a decorative edge. Then, with right sides facing, glue the edges together about 1/8" (0.3cm) on each side.
After gluing, sew the pieces together along the edges using a 1/4" (0.5cm) seam allowance.
After stitching, turn the bag right side out, and attach the metal snap stud and socket to the fastener and bag front.
Finally, sew the hand straps inside the bag mouth, and you’re done!
