This recipe is great for stir fry, grilling, marinating, or whatever you want to add delicious Asian flavor to!
Ingredients:
- 1 small fresh plum
- 2 tsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sweet chile sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp sesame oil
- 6oz full or medium bodied red zinfandel wine (I used Cline's ancient vines zinfandel)
Step 1
In a small sauce pot heat the plum and ginger until translucent.
Step 2
Add sugar and stir until dissolved evenly.
Step 3
Add sweet chile sauce, wine, and soy sauce. Bring to a quick boil then reduce to slow simmer.
Step 4
The sauce will thicken slightly. Remove from heat and add sesame oil. Add to stir fry mix and enjoy!
