Easy Peanut Butter Cookies with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Why settle for regular peanut butter cookies when you can have these over-the-top peanut butter cookies topped with peanut butter and chocolate candy?

Ingredients:

  • 3⁄4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1 1⁄2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 36 mini Reese’s® peanut butter cups, each cut into 4 pieces

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add soda, salt, and flour. Fold in chocolate chips.

Step 3

Using an ice cream scoop, place 6 scoops of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. Use your hand and slightly flatten each scoop of dough. (These are big cookies.)

Step 4

Bake each batch for 12 minutes.

Step 5

Remove cookies from oven and lightly press 8 cut-up pieces of Reese’s® peanut butter cups over the top of each cookie. Return cookies to oven for 2 more minutes.

Step 6

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before placing on cooling rack.
