EASY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WITH REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
Why settle for regular peanut butter cookies when you can have these over-the-top peanut butter cookies topped with peanut butter and chocolate candy?
Ingredients:
- 3⁄4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1⁄2 tsp. salt
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 36 mini Reese’s® peanut butter cups, each cut into 4 pieces
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add soda, salt, and flour. Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 3
Using an ice cream scoop, place 6 scoops of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. Use your hand and slightly flatten each scoop of dough. (These are big cookies.)
Step 4
Bake each batch for 12 minutes.
Step 5
Remove cookies from oven and lightly press 8 cut-up pieces of Reese’s® peanut butter cups over the top of each cookie. Return cookies to oven for 2 more minutes.
Step 6
Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before placing on cooling rack.
