Cut two 2-inch pieces of washi tape, then press them together, adhesive sides in.
Fold the piece in half so that the short ends meet. Then fold again lengthwise.
Cut an arc along the open end to give the petal a rounded edge.
Unfold to reveal a lozenge shape. Then fold each long edge into the center.
Fold in half, to make an accordion fold.
Fold the petal in half, pinching the fold to crease. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to make two additional petals.
Arrange all of the petals together, folded points in. Then use a hot glue gun to adhere them to each other.
Add an embellishment to the center of the flower with hot glue to help secure the petals.
