BABY HEADBAND WITH BOW (FREE KNITTING PATTERN)

Skill Level: Beginner Finished Dimensions: Sized for babies; circumference adjustable Yarn: Worsted weight yarn: small amount Needles: 4.5 mm/U.S. 7 Other Materials: Yarn needle Gauge: Not important
Step 1
HEADBAND Cast on 5 sts. Knit every row until piece is approx 12" (30.5 cm) long or length desired when pulled to stretch a bit. Bind off. Sew ends together.
Step 2
BOW Cast on 5 sts. Knit every row until piece is approx 2" (5 cm) long or length desired. Bind off. Weave in ends. In middle, tie piece tightly, leaving tail to attach Bow to Headband.
Step 3
Sew Bow to Headband over seam. Weave in ends.
