A-Line Sleeveless Dress for Girls

Step 1

Here is the basic layout.

Step 2

Sew center-back seam from end-of-placket notch to hem. Double fold placket edge and topstitch as shown.

Step 3

Sew shoulder seams.

Step 4

Baste between notches on front and back neckline and gather. Sew neckline binding to neckline, making overhanging binding into ties.

Step 5

Sew side seams.

Step 6

Sew armhole binding to armholes, overlapping and folding in ends.

Step 7

Double fold hem, then topstitch.
