Creating old book wreaths came about as I was helping out with a demonstration of Christmas wreaths at my WI meeting back in December 2013. I decided that it would be fun to research different types of wreaths & discovered lots of info on YouTube & via the web to help me create this project. My target was to make each of them for £5 or less - to cover all of the materials used. I rediscovered a love of working with old books & since those first creations I have gone on to make a non-festive one, & hopefully many more to come! I love making them for friends, family, myself & as raffle prizes.
