What is Eco Printing?
In a nutshell, Eco Printing is a natural dyeing technique created or discovered by artist, India Flynt. It is the process of printing on a material (paper, fabric, leather) with leaves, flowers and other plant material by extracting the natural dyes out of those plants.
This is done by bundling the leaves and the material together to create a direct contact. This bundle is then steamed or simmered for a few hours which will extract the natural dye.
