Yarn Bombing Los Angeles, a Californian arts organization comprised of self-proclaimed guerrilla knitters, is planning their next installation, creating a granny square cozy of the Los Angeles-located Craft and Folk Museum. The collaborative group have already received enough knit and crochet pieces to cover the building and are now on the hunt for a total of $8,000 in funds to cover the yarn bombing's assembly and insurance, money they hope to receive by mid-February or the entire project will become scrap yarn.
