A Missouri sewing and embroidery shop, Satin Stitches, opened three sewing machines to anyone willing to sew a snowflake for those affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The electronic embroidered snowflakes are between 2- and 5-inches tall and take at least 4 hours to complete. Satin Stitches is also offering the snowflake machine embroidery pattern for free to those wanting to make a snowflake at home. They will send the snowflakes to the Connecticut Parent Teacher Student Association on January 3rd.
