While we can't write about every craft fair and marketplace happening across the country (or the world), we do like to highlight a handful of notable ones each week. The East

Trail Days is hosted by the tiny but lovely town of Damascus, Virginia, celebrating the tradition of the Appalachian Trail with countless activities spread across the whole town. There are dozens of booths showcasing their crafts in the town square.

If you are looking for a way to relish spring, this festival is exactly what you’re looking for. Held under beautiful white Camelot tents, it features over 100 artists and craftsmen. Bask in the beauty of this rustic part of Long Island while enjoying live music, children’s activities and food.

The South
May 18-20, (Fri) 6 p.m.-12 a.m., (Sat) 11 a.m.-12 a.m., (Sun) 12:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
With three stages and dozens of performers, the main event at Wildflower is the music, but you can also sample food at the Taste of Texas Food Garden or check out some craft artisans at the Wild Market Place. If you have children, swing by the Kidz Korner, or head over to Performer’s Row, which showcases strolling entertainers, buskers and acrobats.

The Midwest
