Lending new meaning to kinky yarn, Benetton, a premier clothing shop, is featuring a controversial art display at their fall and winter pop-up shop—yarn-wrapped sculptures in erotic positions. Fiber artist Erik Ravelo, featured above with one of his sculptures, installed the exhibit at Benetton's request, and already the artwork is gaining attention from both sides. Some argue shopping amidst such intimate artwork is inappropriate for young children while others view the sculptures as little more than a publicity stunt.
