Does a Bacon-Themed Wedding Go Too Far?

Adrienne Dunvan and Eddie Quinones celebrated their love for bacon and each other with a bacon-themed wedding, which helped them win the San Diego County Fair’s Big Bite Bacon Fest. The groom wore a bacon boutonniere while the bridesmaids held delicately delectable bacon bouquets. The wedding cake had more than just a hint of the savory breakfast meat — it was bacon-themed as was the giant maple glazed donut coated with bacon bits, also served at the reception. But the most unique feature? Bacon bits instead of rice were thrown as the couple left the ceremony. Here’s hoping the dry cleaning bill didn't cost more than the wedding! The couple, as a part of their win at the Big Bite Bacon Fest, received a free honeymoon to Baltimore, where they will be the guests of honor at the city’s annual Pigtown Festival.
