There are so many kitchen surfaces, not to mention the air itself, that need cleaning — and of course there's a separate commercial (and often toxic) product available for each one, from the sink drain and the fridge to the oven and the countertops. Sometimes it's hard to get your granite countertops nice and shiny smooth. The store-bought cleaners are expensive and some can still leave streaks or a filmy residue behind. This homemade granite cleaner is super simple and super effective.

Bandits oil (a blend of essential oils like clove, cinnamon and lemon) was a new one for me, but it sure sounds like it would smell divine, plus it has anti-bacterial qualities. Blend it with water, vinegar and rubbing alcohol and your kitchen counters will be spit-spot clean.
